VAVEL (Virtual Art Viewing for Education and Learning)
Overview...
VAVEL (Greek equivalent of BABEL) is an automated Art Space generation tool. It is being developed in collaboration with OUC humanities faculty. The gamified tool gives the opportunity to distance learning students and artists to virtual exhibit their photos, paintings etc. This is a really dynamic tool, which enables non-technical faculty to become art curators and create as many different exhibitions as needed without having to deal with code or other technicalities. It also features Ray-casting events for viewing information about artists and video streaming. The tool is bilingual (Greek – English).
